Shipping Methods & Policies
Domestic Shipping
- All Orders pay a flat 10% per order shipping fee for standard shipping within the continental U.S. and its territories, with a $2.95 minimum charge.
- International and Canadian orders are charged by weight (see below).
- We also offer expedited shipping methods (2nd Day Air, and Overnight), which are charged via weight and distance based on published UPS rates. Our shopping cart system will calculate the price automatically and give you the option of picking the most economical method of delivery.
Tracking Your Package
If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, please use the tracking link provided on the bottom left side of the page under the Information header.
Shipping Address
Here at The Acai Berry Company we have postal correction software that will attempt to adjust your address so it is best recognized by postal carriers. This facilitates a quicker and more accurate delivery of your package.
If our postal correction software does not recognize your address as provided, our customer service department will attempt to call or email you for any address adjustments that should be made. This most often occurs with military APO/FPO boxes or as a result of a missing apartment or suite number. If the address provided is not sufficient and the package is lost or returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges.
If our customer service department does not receive a response within 2 weeks, we will send out your package with the address provided at the time of purchase.
Back Order Policy
While we attempt to stock every item we carry, a product may occasionally be on backorder with our suppliers. If any product in your order is out of stock, we will hold the order for up to 10 calendar days until the entire order can be shipped. After those 10 days, the available items will be shipped and the out of stock items that will be placed on back order. After at most 21 additional days, any back ordered items still out of stock will be refunded.
This policy does not apply to 2nd Day or Overnight shipping. If an item is out of stock for a 2nd Day or Overnight order, we will make every attempt to contact you for order adjustment immediately. Also, International orders may or may not be back ordered at our discretion.
Estimated Delivery Time
Standard Orders
- Orders are usually processed and shipped within one to two business days. Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to arrive after placing the order.
- If there is a delay for any reason (such as an out of stock item), you will be notified by e-mail or phone.
- We prefer to ship using UPS, however, your order may be shipped by another carrier. Providing us with only a PO Box or any other non-UPS address method does not guarantee a USPS shipment.
- If you are in a particular hurry to receive your order, we do offer expedited services. We use UPS 2nd day and UPS USA Overnight Service in in the Continental U.S. We also offer UPS international services (please call or email for rate information.)
- All orders to APO/FPO addresses will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
2nd Day or Overnight Orders
- If you need your order fast, we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs. After you submit your order, please call our toll free number (bottom of every page) to tell us of your special needs.
- Shipping charges are automatically calculated by our shopping cart system.
- All overnight orders received by 11:59PM EST will be shipped the next business day, via UPS. Orders received after 11:59PM Eastern Time Friday, Saturday, or on Sunday will be processed on Monday.
- Please note that there is no weekend delivery, no delivery to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO and no delivery to international addresses for overnight packages.
Weekend Delivery
- Orders shipped via UPS (Overnight, 2-day, and Ground) are delivered Monday through Friday only.
- Orders shipped via USPS are delivered Monday through Saturday.
Alaska & Hawaii
- Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii may require an additional two to four days.
International Shipping
- All international orders are charged via weight and distance.
- All international orders are shipped via USPS Global Express. All shipments are trackable. You can email "customerservice@acaiberrycompany.com" with your name and order confirmation number for tracking information.
- Please make sure your order is shipped to the same address where you receive your credit card monthly statement, otherwise we may require credit card verification via fax.
- We prefer payment for international order be made with direct money transfers such as Paypal for billing security and fraud prevention. If you would like to pay by credit card, we require that all customers purchasing over $100 must fax us a copy of a recent credit card statement that includes the credit card company's logo and address, the customer's name and address, and the last 4 digits of the credit card number being used.
- We ask that international customers please not send checks or money orders. These cannot be processed without being returned to the country of origin for collection, which involves a prohibitively large fee. Checks and money orders from overseas will be kept on file and not processed unless they are cashable within the US and contain sufficient shipping fees.
- For very large international orders, we have the ability to ship via DHL or via container. Please contact us for details. Note that the average shipping time for surface mail is 4-6 weeks.
- Please be aware that international orders may be subject to customs delays and additional taxes or duties, determined by the destination country. We do not determine the taxes and are not responsible for orders held as a result.
- Customer returns of international orders for any reason must be shipped back at the customer's expense. We do not offer call tags for international orders.
Incorrect Packages
If any items in your package were missing or damaged, please contact customer service within 30 days of the original shipment. Claims made more than 30 days after the shipment will not be granted. Claims made within 30 days will be investigated and approved or denied at our discretion.
Language Assistance
We currently have customer service representatives available for order assistance in the following languages: English, German, Russian, and Bulgarian.
Lost Packages
Any claims of packages that were not received must be made within 30 days of the original shipment. Lost package claims on orders that were shipped and/or tracked as delivered by one of our carriers are not valid if made more than 30 days after the shipment. Claims made within 30 days will be investigated and approved or denied at our discretion.
Natural Packaging
The Acai Berry Co. recognizes the importance of shipping your items so that they arrive in perfect condition, and we use a variety of packaging materials to protect the products you've ordered. But we also care about the environment, as do many of our customers. We promise to package your order with the most ecological materials available. Don't be surprised if your order arrives in a reused box or with reused "stuffing" inside. We take special care to purchase packaging materials that are made from recycled materials and that are recyclable.
Virtually every Acai Berry Co. order is shipped in a corrugated container composed of 25 to 30 percent post consumer recycled material. Once used, these containers are 100 percent recyclable for use in the manufacture of other paper products. Corrugated shipping containers are one of the most commonly accepted materials by either curbside recycling programs or at recycling centers nationwide.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards.
Fax Orders
We accept Fax orders. Just FAX your View Cart Contents page, and Confirmation Order Form page to: 815-642-4629.
Personal or Business checks
Checks must be drawn in US funds payable to The Acai Berry Company. Include a printed copy of the order confirmation email along with your money order and mail them here. Checks or money orders sent that do not include sufficient shipping charges will not be processed.

Pricing Information
"Retail Price" is the suggested retail price provided to us by our suppliers. We make no representation that a substantial number of these products have been sold or offered for sale at the list price. Actual retail prices in your area may be substantially different. Because we sell our merchandise over the Internet on an international basis, it is not possible to know if our merchandise is sold at list price in any particular location or at any particular time.
"You Save" reflects the difference between our price and the supplier-provided list price shown on our sites. Because the list price may be different than the actual retail prices in your area, you may not actually realize a savings of this amount and may want to make an exact comparison for yourself by checking the prices of other Internet or local retailers prior to making a purchase.
Price Match Guarantee
Here at The Acai Berry Company, we are committed to offering quality products at discount prices. If you can find one of our products advertised at a lower price by another merchant, contact us and we will attempt to match or beat that price! You must be able to provide us with a phone number and/or web address of the product for verification purposes, and the merchant must have the item in stock. Our goal is to turn you into a lifetime customer, and we will make every attempt to satisfy your needs.
Product Images
Product images are subject to change. We do not guarantee that the image of every product is the most up to date version of that product, as companies ocassionally change their product packaging.
Product Suggestions
Can't find the product you're looking for? We're constantly adding new products to our site, so if you have a product suggestion, we're happy to hear it! Contact our customer service department with the product name and manufacturer, and we'll look into it.
Refund Policy
Please allow up to 60 days, or two billing cycles, from the date of request for the Billing Department to process your refund. Shipping charges will not be refunded for orders that have left our warehouse.
Return Policy
If for any reason you are unhappy with any product you have purchased from us, you may return it for a refund (less shipping and handling). Only one opened package of any product is eligible for return. All others of the same product must be in a factory sealed container for refund. You are covered by this unconditional money back guarantee for a full 30 days from your date of delivery.
